Fans of EL James’ Fifty Shades of Grey have been teased with a sexy new photo ahead of forthcoming film adaptation, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

Former underwear model Dornan plays S&M-obsessed billionaire Christian Grey, while Johnson stars as Anastacia Steele, the college girl infatuated by his charisma.

The picture, shared by Dornan on his Instagram feed with a caption reading “You like?”, shows the 32-year-old wearing nothing but white Diesel boxers, an unbuttoned grey shirt and a loosened tie, standing above a blindfolded girl as he touches her hair.

It has not yet been confirmed whether the photo is a movie still, with some reports claiming it is a teaser from his modelling days.

Directed by Sam Taylor Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey is due in UK cinemas on Valentine’s Day weekend 2015.

But journalists were left feeling disappointingly cool under the collar when they were shown “surprisingly tame” preview clips earlier this year.

Reporters described scenes as “more romantic than sexual”, with Variety hinting at little more than “a lot of PG kissing and a sneak peek into the red room”.

Production on Fifty Shades of Grey was delayed last October when original lead actor Charlie Hunnam quit, reportedly because of a scheduling clash.

James’ novel trilogy has sold over 100 million copies worldwide to date, making it one of the fastest-selling book series of all time.
