Kylo Ren inserted into classic films like Back to the Future and The Terminator guarantees 100% more angst

Do you think all that mess could have been avoided if the Solos had just enrolled their abnormally intense child Ben into a few drama classes?

Then Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Kylo Ren could have channeled all those father issues and millennial angst into "Hasta la vista"-ing Han Solo's carbonite or just screaming "THIS. IS. SPARTA!" into the welcoming abyss.

Darren Wallace's video edit imagines Adam Driver's scene-stealing villain taking centre stage in some of Hollywood's most classic productions, from Back to the Future to Pulp Fiction; proving all that pent-up anger probably could have had a better release than smashing up every single one of the Starkiller base's control boards.

Kylo Ren's really proving he's got what it takes to become a true pop culture icon; spawning hilarious parody Twitter accounts, Calvin and Hobbes art mash-ups, and even seeing Driver himself poke fun at the character on his recent stint on Saturday Night Live.

We'll have a while to wait until Kylo Ren makes his next move on the big screen, though; Star Wars: Episode VIII hits UK cinemas 15 December 2017.
