Liam Neeson to fight crime during his commute in new thriller The Commuter

Yep, it's seriously called 'The Commuter'

Don’t you hate it when you’re trying to get to work but become embroiled in a criminal conspiracy on the underground?

If so, Liam Neeson’s next movie should prove cathartic, seeing the actor ‘play a businessman on his daily commute home who unwittingly gets caught up in a criminal conspiracy,’ according to Deadline. ‘It threatens not only his life but the lives of those around him.’

StudioCanal are behind the picture, having previously teamed with him on previous ‘Liam Neeson shoots things’ films Unknown and Non-Stop.

News of The Commuter comes just days after it emerged that Neeson will also star in a comedy thriller spoofing all these action films he keeps making called The Revenger.

The Oscar-nominated actor did make a return to proper cinema this year though, having just wrapped on the Martin Scorsese-directed film Silence.

Last week, we collected all the movie posters which are just Liam Neeson holding a handgun, of which it turns out there are quite a few.
