Oscars 2020 – LIVE: Laura Dern wins Best Supporting Actress for Marriage Story as Eminem performs Lose Yourself
Biggest night in film will see movies including ‘1917’ and ‘Parasite’ competing for the top prizes
The 92nd Academy Awards have begun at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Brad Pitt took the first prize of the night by being crowned Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.
The film industry's biggest stars have gathered at the ceremony to see who will win the film industry’s most coveted prizes, from Best Actor to the biggest award of the night, Best Picture.

Among this year’s nominees are Joaquin Phoenix, widely tipped as the Best Actor favourite for his performance in Todd Phillips’ Joker, and Brad Pitt, who could win his first-ever acting Oscar for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Sam Mendes and his war epic 1917 are the hot favourites for Best Director and Best Picture, respectively, after the film swept both the Baftas and the Golden Globes.
If you're watching from home, there are plenty of ways you can keep up with all the action on TV and online.
The evening will be broadcast live on ABC in the US and on NOW TV and Sky in the UK.
Sky Cinema will air for the entire evening, beginning at 10pm in the UK with red carpet arrivals. The ceremony itself will start around 1am GMT.
For US viewers, the Oscars will be available to watch on ABC with red carpet coverage kicking off at 5pm PT/ 8pm ET.
Mahershala Ali is now presenting the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. The nominees are Kathy Bates, Laura Dern, Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh and Margot Robbie.
She thanks Noah Baumbach, her family, and her parents, whom she calls her heroes in a moving speech.
"This is the best birthday present ever," says Dern, who was born on 10 February.
Speaking of Brad Pitt, did you see his reaction when Janelle Monae asked him to sing in her microphone at the beginning of the ceremony? Fun times.
Anthony Ramos from Hamilton and the upcoming In the Heights introduces Lin-Manuel Miranda to the stage.
Lin-Manuel Miranda is introducing a medley of some of the tunes that have won Best Original Song in the past. The clip is followed by a performance by Eminem, who's now rapping "Lose Yourself"!
