Spectre: Ellie Goulding in line to sing movie theme tune, according to Sam Smith
The 'Stay With Me' singer denied reports he had been asked

She’s had one of the best-selling singles of the year so far with Fifty Shades of Grey song “Love Me Like You Do” – and now it looks like Ellie Goulding could sing the theme tune of another Hollywood blockbuster.
Sam Smith has hinted Goudling is in line to sing the Spectre theme song when the film comes out in autumn after saying he had been asked to record it.
“I heard Ellie Goulding was going to do it, it’s definitely not me,” he said.
Denying reports he would be performing the song, he told Capital FM: “I’m deadly serious! I think I would know by now!...I’d love to do it, who knows? I’d just love to do it. It would be a dream.”

Adele sang the title Bond track “Skyfall” for the last 007 film in 2012, which went on to win an Oscar for Best Original Song.
Sam Smith’s deep, soulful voice would be a good fit to replace Adele, if she has indeed decided not to come on board to sing the theme tune again.
According to reports in May, Adele has allegedly already recorded the theme song for Spectre.

Starring Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Ralph Fiennes, Léa Seydoux and Naomie Harris, Spectre is due to be released on 6 November in the UK.
