While Spider-Man ’s fate may remain unknown following the events of Avengers: Infinity War,
Posting a video to Instagram, Tom Holland – who plays the masked hero – teased that, although the idea of a sequel seems impossible, he had received a script for the project.
Captioning the post “sorry for no announcements”, Holland held up a digital version of the script during the video, ‘accidently’ revealing the upcoming movie’s title: Spider-Man: Far From Home
The title continues the ‘home’ theme established by the first solo Holland-starring Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming , and will feature a globe-trotting adventure that takes the titular character to London.
Jon Watts returns to direct the sequel, which recently cast Jake Gyllenhaal as the villain Mysterio . Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon all return.
