This is the first word spoken in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

No, seriously, ‘this’, is the first word spoken in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, director JJ Abrams not only revealed the first clip from the upcoming film but also that 'this' is the first word spoken by anyone.

It was quickly pointed out how the word ‘this’ is an anagram for ‘Sith’ - the enemies of the Jedi. Watch JJ reveal the word below.

In other Star Wars new, Mark Hamill recently tweeted out a relatively big spoiler for the upcoming movie, which you can read more about here.

George Lucas said in an interview why Disney scrapped his ideas for Episode VII, saying: “The issue was, they looked at the stories, and they said we want to make something for the fans.”

It also turns out the film was only finished three weeks before the film actually reaches cinema screens on the 17 December. Abrams reportedly “pulled an all-nighter” to finish the film.
