The outlaw spirit of Easy Rider is a distant memory, but three ageing bikers are trying to relive it in Jon Ivay's uneven UK comedy. Fred (Gary Stretch) has been asked by his boss to close a drugs deal with a hippie in Wales, so he gets on the road with his mates (Phil Daniels, Geoff Bell). Fuelled by dope and booze, they rediscover the pleasures of camping and air guitar while trying to avoid a turf war between rival gangs. The laughs are few, the narrative almost non-existent, but the stoner trio give a decent, if rambling, account of themselves.
