Letter: Broken promises

Sir: Looking at the increasing list of broken promises by the Labour Party (report, 6 December), I think the time has come to have annual delivery output reports on each MP and the Government as a whole, measured against promises made locally and nationally. A league table of politicians would certainly boost flagging interest in democracy.
