On February 7, US folk pop band Fleet Foxes maintains its spot as the most blogged artist in the music blogosphere according at The Hype Machine. Rock duo The Kills remains in second place while Brooklyn all-female trio Vivian Girls moves into third.

Bloggers are also swapping a new single by New York synth-pop indie band The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. The song, "Belong," is the title track to their upcoming sophomore album, releasing March 29. "The track begins with a pleasant synth line until the crunchy fuzzed out guitar seems to drown everything out by surprise," reviews music blogger JP's Blog (jpsblog.net).

California-based quartet Cold War Kids takes ninth place in the day's top ten as bloggers circulate a remix of the track "Mine Is Yours" by Brooklyn rockers Yeasayer. The song is the title track from Cold War Kids' latest album, which released January 25. The remix "pares the song down by a minute or so, adds the signature Yeasayer synth sound and leaves it at that," writes blogger Typanogram (tympanogram.com).
