The Crystal Maze is back. X-files is returning. Even TFI Friday is getting a one off special. But it doesn’t stop at TV reboots; nineties pop groups are now gearing up for massive comebacks, and leading the trend are All Saints.
Having made a minor comeback last year as the support act to the Backstreet Boys’ arena tour, the girls are teasing bigger things to come – could we be getting a new album?
The four-piece, which consists of singers Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton, posted a 57-second clip to their barren YouTube account which features a mash of old and new footage, soundtracked by the song “Chick Fit”. Watch below.
Not only did the group support the Backstreet Boys last year, but they also played major sets at V Festival and Manchester Pride.
“Keep your eyes peeled to All Saints official channels for news, tour dates and all other activity,” reads the description beneath the YouTube video.
With all this 90’s nostalgia it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the “Never Ever” singers releasing a new album followed by a major tour of the UK, perhaps with another band from the same era.
One can only hope.
