Fans appalled after Drake refers to ‘Baby Momma’ as a ‘fluke’ on new song ‘When to Say When’

Drake fans are in uproar after he referred to his ‘Baby Momma’ as a fluke on new song “When to Say When”.
Referencing Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his 2-year-old son Adonis, he raps: “Baby mama fluke, but I love her for who she is.”
Fans subsequently expressed their discomfort over the seemingly dismissive lyric on Twitter: “Drake is rude as hell … [she] has never said anything bad about you…and she’s a fluke?! He needs to be slapped!” wrote one user.
Another tweeted: “Drake really called his baby mom fluke then said he love her for who she is the toxic meter going off.”
“Drake called his baby mother a ‘fluke’,” read another. “I just... men are embarrassing. Sophie ain’t done a thing to this man but be quiet and take care of their kid, and he out here being a headass.”
The news of Drake’s child surfaced in May 2018 after Pusha T’s diss track “The Story of Adidon” claimed he was hiding a secret son. The lyrics featured Pusha T accusing Drake of being a “deadbeat mothaf***a” and linking his apparent bad parenting to Drake’s own parents.
Drake went on to confirm he fathered a child with Brussaux on Scorpion track “March 14”. “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world” he raps. “I was hiding the world from my kid.”
During an episode of LeBron James‘ unscripted HBO series The Shop in October 2018, Drake raved about his “beautiful” son.
“[He has] crazy blue eyes - baby blue eyes,” Drake said, adding, “He’s already in the pool shooting the basketball.”

He also opened up about his relationship with Brussaux, saying that he’s “a single father learning to communicate with a woman who … we’ve had our moments.”
“I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened,” he wrote at the time. “But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother. I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible. Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father.”
He added: “No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
