Drake has had a busy 15 months. It all began last year when he released the mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late, followed by Future collaboration What a Time to Be Alive.

Then there was the almost chart-topping “Hotline Bling”, diss-tracks “Charged Up” and "Back to Back”, and most recently the leaked Controlla”, “These Days” and “Faithful”.

Somewhere, in amongst all these releases, the rapper has found time to record the long awaited album Views from the 6, set to hit shelves on the 29 April, and now has an official album cover.

Two official tracks from the album have been released so far, ”One Dance" featuring Wizkid & Kyla and "Pop Style" featuring The Throne (aka Jay-Z and Kanye West).

Unfortunately for Drake, his album faces stiff competition in the album charts from Beyoncé, whose latest album, Lemonade, has just been released on iTunes. The pair will likely fight it out for the number one spot.

Speaking about View from the 6, long-time collaborator Noah “40” Shebib said: “It’s going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us. A lot of introspection, very vivid. He’s discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns.”

Beats-wise, “I’m trying to find ways to pull more untraditional sounds in, to push the boundaries a little further. Something about it should be special.”
