Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack: Ellie Goulding song 'Love Me Like You Do' named fastest-selling single of the year
The track knocked Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' from the top spot

Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" has become the fastest-selling single of the year – just days before the release of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The track, which features on the soundtrack for the screen adaptation of EL James' best-selling trilogy, went to Number One yesterday, knocking Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" from the top spot after seven weeks.
The catchy song has achieved a combined chart sales total of more than 172,000, according to the Official Charts Company.
And it is Goulding’s second UK Number One, following "Burn" in 2013.
"Love Me Like You Do" has been streamed over 1.46 million times, although it was beaten by "Uptown Funk" in that respect, with the latter achieving 2.10 million streams.
The Fifty Shades of Grey album also features a new remix of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love", a remastered version of Frank Sinatra's "Witchcraft", The Rolling Stones' "Beast of Burden" and an "I Put A Spell On You" cover by Annie Lennox.
Other singles heard in movies that enjoyed huge success in their own right include Bryan Adams' "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), the Bee Gees' "How Deep Is Your Love" from Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Whitney Houston's cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You", which featured in the The Bodyguard (1992).
Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey film tracks the relationship between playboy millionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and naïve student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).
The 18-rated film has been criticised by domestic violence campaigners in America, who have called for a boycott ahead of its official premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on Wednesday.
Fifty Shades of Grey is scheduled for release in the UK on 13 February - just in time for Valentine’s Day.
