Frank Ocean to headline Lovebox 2017
The singer has described the appointment as a 'London exclusive'
Frank Ocean will be hitting London next summer to headline Lovebox Festival.
The acclaimed musician will be taking to the Victoria Park stage on Friday 14 July for what he's deeming a "London exclusive."
Fans have been expecting a tour announcement ever since the release of his video album Endless and sophomore record Blonde in August; both were the long-awaited follow-ups to his 2012 debut Channel Orange.
The date will be Ocean's first London show in three years.
Lovebox's Saturday night headliner is yet to be announced but it's certain they'll have a tough act to follow in Ocean. The singer's decision to bill it as a "London exclusive" could herald a further announcement regarding tour dates elsewhere in the UK's capital.
Last year's Lovebox headliners were Major Lazer and LCD Soundsystem.
The first outdoor version of the festival began in 2003 where it took place in the South London location of Clapham Common; it moved to East London in 2005.
