Frank Ocean helped Chance the Rapper impress a date in typically cool fashion

Despite fans wanting Frank Ocean to hurry along his follow-up to 2012’s Channel Orange, the ex-Odd Future member remained characteristically relaxed about the entire process.

However, when he did finally release new music, Ocean dropped two albums - filled with 35 tracks - both released within two days of each other (not to mention the accompanying visuals to Endless, the “Nikes” music video, and a 360-page magazine.)

During those four years between albums, Ocean found some time to hang out with Chance the Rapper, one of Chicago’s most promising new rappers. In an interview with GQ, Chance revealed how the Blonde singer managed to help him impress a date.

“I was on a date one time at the crib, and we're sitting in the front room, maybe rolling up some weed or something,” he told the publication. “And then Frank just comes up and starts playing the piano and lightly singing in the background of our date. Obviously, that scored me a lot of points with this female.”

No matter who you’ve dated, chances are you will never be able to top having Ocean play piano to you and your potential partner while hanging out at home. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the life Chance wanted, as he discussed in the candid interview.

“I was just f*cking tweaking,” he added. “I was a Xan-zombie, fucking not doing anything productive and just going through relationship after relationship after relationship. Mind you, this is six months. So think about, like, how could you even do that?”

Eventually, he moved back to Chicago, got back with his girlfriend, and had a daughter, Kinsley Bennett. Since then, Chance has released the mixtape Coloring Book, featuring Kanye West among more.
