Janelle Monae releases new track PYNK featuring Grimes
'PYNK' is the third single from the singer's forthcoming album

Janelle Monáe revealed the third single from her forthcoming LP Dirty Computer.
The song - titled "PYNK" - features Grimes and is a sonic departure from her first two album singles "Make Me Feel" and "Django Jane."
"PYNK" is a slow-burning dance anthem, perfect for summer, while "Make Me Feel" was heavily influenced by Prince and "Django Jane" showed off the singer's rap skills.
This isn't the first time Monáe and Grimes have teamed up: they previously collaborated on "Venus Fly" - a track from Grimes' most recent record 2015's Art Angels.
Alongside the track, Monáe also dropped a video for "PYNK" featuring rumoured girlfriend Tessa Thompson, who also starred in the singer's video for "Make Me Feel" back in February.
Described as a "brash celebration of creation, self love, sexuality and p**** power," "PYNK" is a track "that unites us all" as "the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans eerywhere."
The description concludes, "'PYNK' is where the future is born."
Monáe's latest track sits between "Django Jane" and "Make Me Feel" on the Dirty Computer track list.
It's a great way to hear the album's tonal changes.
Dirty Computer is due April 27.
