Jesy Nelson: Little Mix appear without singer for third time in a week amid fan concerns
Singer missed the final of Little Mix’s talent show and the MTV EMAs last weekend
Little Mix appeared on TV without Jesy Nelson for a third time this week during BBC Children in Need.
The singer last week sparked concern among fans after pulling out of the final episode of reality show Little Mix: The Search.
She also did not perform or host with her bandmates at the MTV EMAs on Sunday (8 November).
While Little Mix had been due to take part in Friday (13 November)’s Children in Need appeal show, it had not been confirmed whether Nelson would be taking part.
However, while Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards appeared in a sketch with kids’ TV presenters Dick and Dom, Nelson was notably absent, with fans sharing their concerns online.
“Hope Jesy is ok as has been missing lately and also wasn’t with the girls tonight on @BBCCiN sending hugs @LittleMix,” one fan tweeted.
The Independent has contacted Little Mix’s representatives for comment.
When Nelson first missed Little Mix: The Search, a spokesperson for the band said: “Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight’s final of Little Mix The Search.”
“She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow's MTV EMAs.”
