Marilyn Manson: Police investigating domestic violence allegations against singer
Report comes after multiple abuse allegations were made against the controversial musician, including by Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood
Marilyn Manson is being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department over abuse allegations made against him, it has been reported.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that officials confirmed they are “investigating allegation(s) of domestic violence involving Mr Brian Warner, also known as 'Marilyn Manson’” over alleged incidents that took place between 2009 and 2011, when Manson was living in West Hollywood.
On 1 February, Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood came forward to accuse Manson of grooming her and abusing her “for years”.
“The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson,” Wood wrote in an Instagram post.
“He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail.
“I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

Wood began dating Manson when she was 19 and he was 36, in 2007. They were engaged for seven months but broke up in 2010.
The actor has previously spoken about an abusive relationship she experienced, which allegedly included “threats against my life, severe gaslighting and brainwashing, waking up to the man that claimed to love me, raping what he believed to be my unconscious body”.
Since Wood’s claims, multiple other women have come forward to make similar accusations against Manson.
