Future seems to be the go-to guy for surprise collabs.

Earlier in 2015, Drake released his ‘What a Time to be Alive’ mixtape with the Atlanta rapper, and now The Weeknd has gifted fans a track that features a guest verse from him on Christmas Day.

‘Low Life’ which has a similar rhythm to The Weeknd’s ‘Often’ and a similar flow to Future’s ‘Diamonds Dancing’, is the second time the pair have appeared on the same track, following Mike WiLL Made It’s ‘Drinks On Us’ (which contains the most avant garde drum fill of 2015, listen out for it).

The Weeknd also posted a remix of Jeremih’s ‘Pass Dat’ to his Soundcloud, the second track off the singer’s album ‘Late Nights: The Album’.

A ton of artists released tracks as Christmas presents on the 25th, including Radiohead with their rejected Spectre bond theme, LCD Soundsystem with an anti-Christmas song and Future Islands with a cover of Wham!’s Last Christmas.

The Weeknd earned seven Grammy nominations for his Beauty Behind the Madness album this year, a little short of Kendrick Lamar who leads with 11.
