GIFs might be everywhere on the internet these days, but one Polish artist is using them to turn everyday objects into dazzling digital artworks.

Feliks Konczakowski makes these hypnotising images with a little help from Adobe After Effects, to breathe fresh life into the likes of cauliflowers, doughnuts, watermelons, roses and pretzels.

His mesmerising orange is particularly beautiful, its vivid colours and detail spiralling like a staircase, while others are delightfully ambiguous and could be anything from coral and clouds to petals and popcorn.

The roaring tiger might give us nightmares and the ‘self-stirring morning coffee’ only makes our caffeine addictions stronger. One gif of a man seemingly wandering through computer hardware is so disorientating it's nauseating while others such as light reflecting off a spinning disc and a swirling washing machine are trippy and psychedelic.

Konczakowski shares his creations on his tumblr, where he describes himself as an “unpolished visual artist who probably comes from Mars”.

He began working on his designs six years ago but is admittedly inexperienced and only recently learnt how to save a GIF. Watch this space for yet more vortex visions.
