Pokémon GO has already brought communities together, and now its assembling boozehounds.

A bar crawl has been arranged on Facebook for Saturday 23 July in Williamsbug, Brooklyn, starting at Barcade.

In typical flaky urbanite fashion, 2.1k people are currently ‘going’, while 11k are noncommittally ‘interested’.

“Lets catch a buzz while we catch em all!!!” the event reads (sic).

“On Saturday, July 23rd at 7pm we'll start the night off at Barcade in Williamsburgh and from there we shall travel from bar to bar across the land, searching far and wide!

“We will also be battling for gyms along the way! To catch them is our real test, to train them is our cause!”

Attendees might want to steer clear of police (apart from obvious reasons in America right now), as officers in other parts of the world have been getting pissed off at Pokémon GO players trying to catch Sandshrews in their stations.
