Only those who have spent the last year canoeing up the Zambesi will have failed to have noticed everyone going Wilde about Oscar. We've seen revivals of his plays, new films and even statues marking his centenary. The biggest American noise on the subject is Gross Indecency, Moises Kaufman's reconstruction of the trials that sent Wilde to Reading Gaol. So, following Robert Morley, Liam Neeson, Corin Redgrave and Stephen Fry, to name but a few, here's Michael Pennington in (hopefully) a winning Oscar performance as the play arrives in London.

Previewing at the Gielgud Theatre (0171-494 5065)
