Back To The Future Part III, You've Been Framed!, Strictly Come Dancing: The Results
Our pick of the best on the box this festive season

What better way to revert to childhood (or silliness, at least) than by watching Back To The Future Part III (4.20pm, ITV1)?
Once in a delirious Saturday afternoon thrall, switch over to the You’ve Been Framed! Christmas Special (6pm, ITV2) and laugh your way out of your reverie at dogs tripping over the tinsel and cats climbing up Christmas trees.
If that weren’t excitement enough for one evening, at 8.50pm on BBC1 it’s the Strictly Come Dancing: The Results grand finale. Just television presenter Denise Van Outen, gymnast Louis Smith, Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh and actress Dani Harmer remain to battle it out for the glitterball trophy.
Provided your wits haven’t been thoroughly flayed by Strictly, at 10pm switch over to BBC2 for the first for a two-part drama based on Charles Dickens’ final (and unfinished novel) The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Starring Matthew Rhys, Tamzin Merchant and Freddie Fox. Or those of you who watched the first instalment of Kill Bill last night can tune into Tarantino’s second in the franchise, Kill Bill: Volume II at 10pm on BBC3.
