Carl Fogarty on I'm A Celebrity 2014: Everything you need to know about the ex-motorbike racer
The former World Superbike racer has sustained multiple injuries in his time, but says nothing is more scary than entering the jungle

Name: Carl Fogarty
Age: 49
Occupation: Former professional motorbike racer
Relationship status: Married
Phobias: Lack of food, boredom and people
Interesting fact: Fogarty, or ‘Foggy’ as he’s known, was awarded an MBE for his services to motorbike racing in 1998.
Fogarty notched up 59 victories and four World Superbike Championships during his time as a motorbike racer, becoming the most successful World Superbike racer of all time.
He was forced to retire from racing in 2000 after suffering multiple injuries from a crash.
In his post-racing career he has become a notable professional motorbike pundit, voicing his strong opinions on today’s racers in the British motorcycle newspaper MCN and elsewhere.
The 49-year-old says the prospect of entering the jungle is far scarier that motorbike racing ever was, and he is most worried about being bored and not having enough food to eat.
But he says he was keen to enter the jungle as it has been a while since he embarked on a challenge.
“I haven’t raced motorbikes for quite a while and I wanted to see if I could stick at it without walking it,” he says.
“I will be a bit silly and childish. But I will pull my weight too. I won’t be happy if people aren’t pulling their weight and I will speak my mind. I will say something if someone is being a bit of a diva.”
I'm A Celebrity begins on Sunday 16 November at 9pm on ITV.
