Celebrity Big Brother 2015: Katie Price claims victory as Katie Hopkins takes second place

Despite Hopkins’ near win, she left the house to loud booing from the crowd

Katie Price has been named the winner of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, with rival Katie Hopkins coming in second place and Calum Best in third.

Price began crying as she was told of her win and said “I don’t understand” after leaving the house.

Price had been allowed to leave the house a day earlier for a medical consultation following issues with her breast surgery, but later returned

In her exit interview with host Emma Willis, Price said: “I went in with a medical problem so I have been on antibiotics and painkillers. I haven’t been myself. I’ve been boring. I don’t really know why I’m here.”

Hopkins left the house to a series of boos from the crowd – despite her earning second place – but said she owed her placing to Perez Hilton.

She told Willis: “If Perez hadn’t been there I still would have been everyone’s least favourite person and a complete cow,” she said after leaving the house.

Best, Hopkins, Price, Michelle Visage and Keith Chegwin were left to compete for the Celebrity Big Brother crown when blogger Hilton and singer Kavana were voted off in a double eviction last week.
