Daredevil season 3: Marvel announces third Netflix series at Comic Con 2016
Charlie Cox will return as the superhero following debut outings for Luke Cage and Iron Fist

Netflix has finally got around to confirming there will be a third season of Daredevil.
One of Marvel's several panels at this year's San Diego Comic-Con was chosen as the right time to make the announcement following the hotly-anticipated release of trailers for upcoming Marvel shows Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
Daredevil season two was released in March 2016 relatively quickly after the release of its critically-acclaimed opening season which debuted July 2015. The follow-up saw the introduction of popular characters The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung).
Charlie Cox will be returning as the eponymous character although it remains unknown when the new batch of episodes will air.
It's also unknown which of the show's cast - including Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Eldon Henson (Foggy) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) - will be coming back for more.
Daredevil was the first of four superheroes to get their own standalone Netflix series alongside Jessica Jones and the aforementioned Cage and Fist.
During a Netflix convention in Paris earlier on this year, the British actor revealed The Defenders - an Avengers-style series assembling these characters - was to begin filming by year's end.
