Enjoy The Big Bang Theory season 9, season 10 is probably the final one
The Big Bang Theory wrapped on season 9 a few weeks ago, but there still doesn't seem to be any concrete plans beyond season 10, which is increasingly looking like its last.
"Look - next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season of Big Bang Theory," Kunal Nayyar told fans at MCM Comic-Con in London at the weekend.
"To be completely honest…I know people are gonna want to know what happens after season 10. I don’t know what’s going to happen."
The wait could be down to the cast trying to negotiate ownership of several small countries into their contracts (they're reportedly now getting paid $1 million an episode) or simply be because the storylines are coming to a close.
Late last year, showrunner Steve Molaro was asked whether s10 will be the final outing, to which he replied: "I think so. I can't speak to the future or on behalf of the cast or where we'll be then but it's certainly possible that it could go past that.
"The reality is that maybe season 10 is the ending point."
Though the show may not be as talked about as it once was, The Big Bang Theory remains the number one comedy in the US amongst 18-49 year olds, the most coveted demographic.
