The nation's favourite Friends character has finally been revealed
Comedy Central asked fans to settle the debate once and for all

Every Friends fan has found themselves hotly debating who the sitcom’s best character is and finally, a poll has been run to find the nation’s favourite.
Comedy Central asked fans to air their views on Twitter during six weeks of FriendsFest on the channel, in a bid to end the argument once and for all. Finally, David Schwimmer’s Ross Geller emerged triumphant.
Monica’s dinosaur-loving older brother racked up 25.6 per cent of the votes, while Matthew Perry’s Chandler Bing came second by a whisker with 25.4 per cent. Matt Le Blanc’s Joey Tribbiani placed third and Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay was named the most popular girl, followed by Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel Green and Courtney Cox’s Monica in fifth and sixth place.
Fans were asked to cast their votes using hashtags for the characters, e.g #VoteRoss. In our humble opinion, Ross is a worthy winner with unforgettable moments including his leather trousers, his tan, teaching Phoebe and Rachel about ‘Unagi’, unsuccessfully moving a sofa with the simple command PIVOT, and who can forget…“WE WERE ON A BREAK!”
FriendsFest travelled to six UK cities over the summer, allowing fans to immerse themselves in faithful recreations of the show’s classic sets, from Monica’s apartment and Central Perk coffee shop to the iconic fountain from the opening titles. Some 60,000 fans attended the event.
