Game of Thrones season 6 director posts major spoiler for final episode on Twitter
Winter is truly coming

You might have thought that the apparent major battle between Jon Snow and the Boltons would form Game of Thrones season 6’s climax, but it looks like something even bigger/more ominous is being filmed for the finale.
Director Miguel Sapochnik shared a photo of the clapperboard for S06E10 on Twitter, dated 3 November, which is labelled ‘White Walker unit’.
Witnesses at filming in Northern Ireland previously claimed that no White Walkers were present at ‘Snow Bowl’, as it’s been nicknamed, so the zombified nefarious icemen are presumably involved in something separate from the battle between the different houses.
What’s more, Fabian Wagner will serve as Director of Photography on the finale episode, the man who helped execute the jaw-dropping battle of Hardhome in season 5.
Game of Thrones filming recently wrapped in Spain and there can’t be a huge amount of shooting left to go in Northern Ireland and Croatia, so all is likely to go fairly quiet on the GoT front soon, that is until we get a first teaser trailer around Christmas/the New Year.
Game of Thrones season 6 is expected to arrive at the end of April/start of May, slightly later than usual.
