Maisie Williams has divulged some details about her final Game of Thrones scene.
The actor, who has played Arya Stark on the HBO series since 2011, finished filming the series earlier this year with a season she claims is “quite big” for her character.
“I had a lot more to do – mainly because there’s just less characters now, so everyone’s got more to do,” she told The Guardian.
The star claimed she felt she had no more left to give as filming wrapped on the sixth and final season, stating: “I got to the end and I didn’t want more. I had exhausted every possible piece of Arya."
Williams, 21, described her final scene as “beautiful” and revealed that Arya will end the series in a way her character has spent the majority of her time on the show: alone.

“I was [on my own] – shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone,” she quipped. “But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches. I ended on the perfect scene.”
Williams is making her stage debut in the Hampstead Theatre’s production of Lauren Gunderson drama, I and You.
