Great British Bake Off 2017: Viewers angry after adverts air during GBBO
'Wow now they're just taking the piss'

People are feeling very anxious over the new series of Great British Bake Off. Will the show moving to Channel 4 from BBC lose that charm?
Whereas some were worried about the new presenters, others were more concerned about the adverts.
As previously reported, there were nearly 17 minutes of adverts, some of which were tailor made for the Bake Off audience.
Almost everyone was complaining about the multiple breaks, particularly the dramatic long pause before the star bake-off/person going home was announced.
And of course, everyone was making jokes about how this would never happen on the BBC.
Overall, though, the newbies — Noel Fielding, Prue Leith, and Sandi Toksvig — managed to win over most viewers, including the critics who reviewed the episode fairly positively.
Meanwhile, you can catch everything that happened in the episode with our live-blog. Bake Off airs every Tuesday on Channel 4 at 8pm.
