Snatch- Teaser trailer- Crackle

A first look at Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint in the TV remake of Guy Ritchie film Snatch has been unveiled.

The project, which has been made for Sony's streaming network Crackle, was given a full season order last year; while 'carrying the spirit' of the original, it'll focus on a group of hustlers who get embroiled in the world of organised crime upon discovering a truckload of stolen gold bullion.

Grint is playing Charlie Cavendish, a 'dynamic, frustratingly chaotic and utterly posh' con man, while Dougray Scott (Fear the Walking Dead) will appear as the imprisoned Vic Hill.

British actor Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl) will return to TV screens to play nightclub owner Sonny Castillo. other cast members include Luke Pasqualino (Skins), Lucien Laviscount (Waterloo Road) and Hustle actor Marc Warren.

Post-Weasley, Grint has starred opposite Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane in Broadway production It's Only a Play. His next project - Nick Frost and Don Johnson action comedy Sick Note - will air on Sky Atlantic later this year.

The film version of Snatch stars Jason Statham and Benicio del Toro as well as Brad Pitt in the role of Irish bare-knuckle boxing champion Mickey O'Neil.

Snatch will air in the US this march - there is no current word on where UK viewers will be able to see it.
