Helen Flanagan has been voted out of the jungle after receiving the fewest number of votes on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The former Coronation Street star, known on this series for failing a series of bushtucker trials, looked shocked when she was named as the latest celebrity to leave the camp, saying: "Oh my God."

When quizzed by hosts Ant and Dec about her consecutive failures, Flanagan laughed off any notion of a "game plan".

"Oh my God, I completely wish, because honestly, ever since I've been here I've just been absolutely cringing about how bad I'm going to look in these trials, thinking this is so humiliating - I will never be able to live this down," she said.

Before she was shown footage of her time on the show, the pin-up joked that she did not want to watch herself back.

"Can I have a pillow to cringe?" she asked.

Despite failing to succeed in the trials, Flanagan said she was still "proud" of how she coped.

She said: "When I first came into the show I was thinking 'Yeah, I'm really strong-minded, I'll be able to do all the trials and things'.

"I didn't think they were going to be as hard."

She added: "Even though some of the trials were quite bad, I'm proud of myself because I feel like I did my best."

As a parting shot, the star professed her love for her new friends, saying: "I genuinely can say that I absolutely loved every single person in camp."

Earlier in the show, boxer David Haye failed to win food for all his jungle buddies after he could not collect all the stars during the bushtucker trial.

Haye was told that the trial, titled Cruelty Towers, involved going inside rooms in the tower to collect seven stars.

However, he was not be the only guest checking in, as he was joined by a host of jungle critters including, snakes, spiders and a crocodile.

Picking up a number of stars, the boxer was caught out in the last room when he failed to salvage a star from a heap of offal on which flies were gorging.

Promised a surprise, the roof of the room was edging down making the space smaller and he failed to collect the seventh star.

"That was disgusting," he said afterwards.

"I did my best, a lot of losers say that.

"Definitely by far the worst room I've been in and I've been in some crappy rooms in my time.

"I regard that as a big juicy loss, I didn't think there was anything that this jungle could throw at me that I couldn't do but how wrong was I?"
