Edwina Currie was branded “heartless” after driving former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson to tears during a rumble in the jungle in the latest I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The former MP took exception after hearing the American tell Michael Buerk she thought it was best to “live in a moment” and “never live your life for other people”.

Despite the other contestants telling Currie she had misunderstood, the former minister launched into an attack on her, saying: “But you can't say you should never ever live your life for other people ever. Sometimes you have to make decisions that benefit other people but put you at a disadvantage.”

The former model replied: “Get your heartless ass out of our conversations, shut the f*** up and go back to sleep where you belong”, before breaking down in tears.

It was left to the other campmates to try and make the peace, with Buerk saying: “I don't think Kendra is a selfish person actually but I'm not sure she's a moral philosopher either.”

There were happier times for some of the others with Jimmy Bullard, Vicki Michelle and Carl Fogarty all reunited with family or friends after Buerk and Nadia Forde successfully completed a special challenge.
