James Corden’s struck gold with his Carpool Karaoke segments; from Adele to Justin Bieber, every other week the Gavin and Stacy actor has a world conquering star in his passenger seat, leading to numerous headline-grabbing segments.

This week, instead of going for outright star power, Corden picked up some of Broadway’s legends to sing iconic tunes while travelling the streets of New York for The Late Late Show.

With some help from Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jane Krakowski, Corden performed songs from the likes of Hamilton, Les Misérables and other productions.

However, it’s not just because of their impressive vocal chords that Corden picked up the Broadway members; later this week he will host the Tony Awards.

Meanwhile, Corden managed to get ‘Chewbacca Mom’ on his show while she was at the height of her 10-minutes of fame, and recently took part in a rap battle against David Schwimmer of Friends.
