Comedian Michael Spicer posts ‘Room Next Door' video celebrating Trump’s loss at US election
Hilarious clip is soundtracked to Bill Withers song ‘Lovely Day’
British comedian Michael Spicer has posted his brilliant reaction to Joe Biden beating Donald Trump in the 2020 US presidential election.
Spicer, 42, uploaded the latest in his "Room Next Door" series, which sees him lays a fictional adviser attempting to prevent the world’s leaders from making embarrassing blunders.
In a departure from the usual content, thought, this video – simply titled "The End" – shows a smiling Spicer performing carefree acts to the soundtrack of "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers.
The clip ends on a sour note, though, as he’s interrupted by an unseen Boris Johnson, who quickly brings him back down to Earth.
"For how many months have you had this just sitting on your computer, waiting to post?" one person asked Spicer in reply to the Twitter post. The comedian replied: "Six."
The world film, television and music has been responding to Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris' victory after it was declared on Saturday (7 November).
Celebrities, including Reese Witherspoon, Sally Field, Get Out director Jordan Peele and Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen, are just some of the people to have posted messages of happiness.
Filmmaker Spike Lee was videoed cracking open a bottle of champagne in the streets of Brooklyn, New York following the news.
