Russell Brand to be quizzed about sex life for new C4 prostitution documentary
The comedian will talk to Rupert Everett on forthcoming show Love For Sale
Rupert Everett is to interview Russell Brand about his sexploits for a bold Channel 4 documentary about people who buy and sell sex.
The English actor, 54, will question the comedian about his own experiences as part of forthcoming two-parter Love For Sale.
Self-confessed former sex addict Brand has spoken openly about his encounters with prostitutes, whom Everett recently described as “the world’s unacknowledged experts on our most intimate desires”.
Other interviewees will include a young rent boy in Tel Aviv, a Brazilian escort who charges £700 an hour, a single mother from Exeter who insists she enjoys her work and the women who work the notorious Bois de Boulogne in Paris.
In this personal take on "the world's oldest profession", Everett will also explore why men, including married men and sex addicts, use prostitutes and address some of the dangers sex workers face.

Show all 8Everett is a long-term defender of the rights of prostitutes, a stigmatised group of people who are often viewed as either immoral or exploited.
“Rupert has a unique authorial voice and his opinions range from the theological to the ideological,” said Sara Ramsden, Channel 4’s commissioning editor. “It’s great to see someone stand up so strongly for the dignity of women living with very difficult choices.”
Other new shows announced by Channel 4 include My Last Summer, about the lives of five terminally ill people and their families, and 24 Hours in Custody, about a group of new Royal Marine recruits.
