Sharon Osbourne briefly hospitalised with Covid-19: ‘Everyone please stay safe and healthy’
The Talk star is recuperating at a location apart from her husband, Ozzy Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she was briefly hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19.
The former music manager and star of The Talk tweeted that she was recuperating in a location away from her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.
In the post on Monday evening (14 December), she wrote: “I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19.”
“After a brief hospitalisation, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”
Ozzy Osbourne noted in an interview with GQ in November that he was particularly vulnerable to coronavirus due to his respiratory problems.
“I’ve got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I’m f***ed,” he said.
The heavy metal star – who released his latest album, Ordinary Man, in February this year – has suffered a number of health issues lately.
His and Sharon’s granddaughter Minnie, the three-year-old daughter of Jack Osbourne, had previously tested positive for Covid-19 in September.
Jack Osbourne described her symptoms as “a little bit of a runny nose and a fever”.
