This paper animation of the Twin Peaks opening credits is equal parts lovely and creepy

Damn good animation

As we await season 3 of Twin Peaks, please enjoy this remake of the title sequence made entirely using paper.

The show has one of the most iconic titles in TV history, giving a snapshot of life in a lazy Pacific Northwest town, belying the weirdness and Red Rooms to come.

It works quite nicely in paper, from the crackling circle grinder to the Twin Peaks sign complete with handwritten population info.

The long-awaited third season looks to be back on track, with a whopping 18 episodes having been ordered from co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost.

At a panel talk last week, original actresses Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee also revealed that Angelo Badalamenti is returning to compose brand new music for the series and Twede’s Cafe in North Bend, WA, will be restored as the original Double R Diner set.

Networks are falling over themselves to resurrect old shows lately, with The X-Files and Full House also set to return to TV.
