It looks like Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc’s antics on Top Gear have impressed BBC bosses, so much so that they’re making a spin-off show titled Extra Gear.
According to the broadcaster, the show will be available to watch on the online-only channel BBC Three the moment Top Gear finished on BBC Two.
Rory Reid - who was earlier this year announced as a presenter on Top Gear - will host the sister show, which will feature interviews, exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes action from the main show.
"Extra Gear is hugely exciting," Reid said of his new venture. "The Top Gear fans are some of the keenest in the world and with this show I'm giving them a chance to really get a peek behind the curtain.
"I'm looking forward to showing them how the show is made and what goes on behind the scenes, giving viewers a different perspective on some of the coolest cars on the planet.”

Many other popular shows have had spin-off ‘chat’ shows, for instance, Big Brother had Big Brother’s Little Brother, and The Walking Dead has Talking Dead.
BBC Three's boss Damian Kavanagh explained how Extra Gear will “allow fans to get closer to the Top Gear action and feel part of the show”.
Those outside of the UK will also be able to watch the show, whereas most BBC programming is only accessible by those within the UK.
Meanwhile, Top Gear’s original presenting trio - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May - are poised to debut a new as-of-yet untitled car series on Amazon Prime this coming Autumn.
