The HBO series has been known to feature piano-based versions of well-known songs from groups including The Rolling Stones and Radiohead.

It's been known that this second season was to feature a version of West's track “Runaway” for some time but the accompaniment from composer Ramin Djawadi dropped in this week's episode - the timing of which many are highlighting as unfortunate considering the controversy he sparked last week.

West recently opined on a wide range of topics in a string of tweets including posts which saw him express support for Trump and unveil a signed 'Make America Great Again' cap.

While some viewers questioned the timing of the use of West's music, others praised Djawadi's work.
