It's quite stunning. I've never heard of this guy and I haven't seen this form of art before. It's brilliant. The early works are a remarkable feat but I can't really see it as art. But the collages are amazing and reality becomes bolder and you get more out of it than you could possibly get out of photos or drawings.

I'm so impressed at his technique, but it's a little boring to start with - I can see a photograph whenever I want. But the development into collage is fascinating because each piece is only one colour. It's a completely new technique to me.

My humble opinion is that it's too systematic. It's all technique, and it's an old technique as well. It reminds you of computerised images, or of newsprint blown up, which lessens the effect of it a bit for me.

I thought his work was incredible, particularly the abstraction, which is what an artist always does: start with a conventional image and then look into it so closely that you're just looking at surfaces, textures and light. The first works seem more than real, partly because of the size.
