Earlier this week a maths question from an Australian exam paper went viral for confusing many of the students taking it.

The seemingly tricky question, which asked the degree of x in between two identical 50 cent pieces sent Australian pupils abuzz, when they sat their VCE exams recently.

The Victorian Certificate of Education exams are given to secondary school pupils in years 11 or 12 who complete high school studies in the Victoria state
