Styrian Grand Prix LIVE: Latest F1 updates and reaction as Lewis Hamilton wins first race of the seasosn
Re-live the latest updates from the Red Bull Ring where defneding champion Hamilton cruised to victory ahead of teammate Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen
Follow the latest updates live from the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring as Lewis Hamilton starts from pole position in a bid to win his first race of the 2020 F1 season.
The reigning world champion produced an incredible lap in qualifying to take pole position by a mammoth 1.2s, but he’s joined on the front row by Max Verstappen in a Red Bull that has a lot of making up to do after last weekend’s double-retirement for the home team. The top order is shaken up somewhat though by the rain-sodden qualifying session, meaning Carlos Sainz starts in third in the McLaren with world championship leader Valtteri Bottas only able to qualify in fourth.
There have been a fair few grid penalties applied, with Lando Norris dropping from sixth to ninth and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc seeing an already-disappointing 11th worsen to 14th after he was found to have blocked Daniil Kvyat in qualifying, with Antonio Giovinazzi also dropping to thee back of the grid after a gearbox change on his Alfa Romeo. Lights out is scheduled for 2:10pm, and you can follow lap-by-lap updates live below.

Lap 64: With DRS to his aid Perez sets another fastest lap and he's just 0.6s off the back of Albon. Stroll meanwhile is still all over Ricciardo, but can't find a way past.
Lap 65: Bottas's charge is putting Red Bull's second place under major threat as the gap is only 1.4s as they cross the line, and Verstappen has damage to his front ring end plate.
Lap 66: New fastest lap of the race ... for Lando Norris! He's trying to catch the pair in front of him... as Bottas attacks Verstappen!
Lap 66: Bottas passes Verstappen on the run to Turn 4, but the fighting instinct of the Dutchman kicks in and he fights back on the outside line, which gives him the inside for Turn 6 and forces Bottas out wide to maintain second.
Lap 67: Bottas this tie gets past well before Turn 4 and positions his car neatly to prevent Verstappen from fighting back.
Lap 68: Sainz pits from ninth with acres of space behind him and is going to try snatch fastest lap, which is now held by Hamilton.
Lap 69: Verstappen pits from third, as he'll also go for the extra point for fastest lap.
Lap 70: Contact! Perez damages his front wing trying to pass Albon!
Lap 71: Stroll divebombs Ricciardo into Turn 3 and Stroll pounces. He pushes both of them wide, and Norris tries to sneak through! Stroll takes sixth with Norris sixth and Ricciardo drops to seventh.
