Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition
****
PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One (£59.99)
Besmirched by an initial plague of server errors and fan backlash, this is the final, definitive version of the controversial dungeon crawler. With the inclusion of the Reaper of Souls expansion already released on PC, this edition adds improved loot drops, a new character class, an entirely new adventure chapter and a multitude of endgame content. While the inert story is still a damp squib, the improved co-op and online thrills continue to revitalise the Diablo experience. Slaying demons with a friend has never felt so heavenly.

Hohokum
***
PS3, PS4, Vita (£9.99)
Stress is a common emotion in modern games, but Hohokum provides players with an experience devoid of it. As a multi-coloured snake/sperm hybrid, you fly around solving puzzles, giving rides to small creatures and freeing your snake/sperm hybrid buddies. No risk, no peril, just beautiful, free-flowing gameplay and a wonderful soundtrack. Some of the puzzles are frustrating and there's a degree of repetition, but puzzle-solving is not the appeal. It's a relaxing, hypnotic experience that lets you unwind rather than get wound up.

Siesta Fiesta
**
3DS (£3.99)
Siesta Fiesta takes the block-breaking, ball-bouncing action of Breakout and adds some side scrolling to the mix, with a bit of Latin flair thrown in for good measure. New gameplay elements are introduced as the game progresses, from Donkey Kong Country-style barrel cannons to water blocks and inflatable balloons – but even these do little to spice up proceedings. Reach the end of the world and you begin to realise that you're just bouncing through the entire game, missing all the fun bits.
