Texas flood: Someone trolled a Houston news station by sending in a photo from 'Jurassic Park' as storm coverage

A viewer sent a screen grab from an iconic "Jurassic Park" scene and a Houston news station used it as a part of their storm coverage.

The gaff was first discovered by Reddit user Acritely and was widely shared online on Tuesday.

KHOU.com, the official website for KHOU-TV quickly removed the photo and had not responded to requests for comment by press time.

More than 10 inches of rain slammed the Houston area overnight, leaving two pronounced dead and 12 missing.
