As shops continue to slash prices in an effort to unload their excess Christmas decor, eggnog flavoured desserts, and holiday chocolates, shoppers rejoice at the chance to stock up on items priced for next to nothing.

The latest sale to incite a shopping frenzy among thrifty shoppers is for Yankee Candles - and people are understandably excited.

While typical large-sized Yankee Candles go for an exorbitant £20 ($28), ASDA is currently selling the Home Inspiration range for a mere £3 ($4).

First spotted on the Hotukdeals Facebook page, the offer is pretty incredible considering the range includes 35 different flavours.

For just £3, your house can smell like banana bread, clear mountain lake, lovely lavender, or rainwashed berries.

But with 4,000 comments on the post, it seems likely the deal, nor the candles, won’t last long.

While the candles are only priced at £3 in store, the online deal isn’t bad either.

On Asda's website, the large Yankee Candles are going for £14, which is still a steal compared to the original price.

Earlier this week shoppers rushed to Tesco to snap up tins of Quality Street chocolates which had been reduced from £6 to £1.50.
