Think you love Christmas? You’d be hard-pressed to compete with festive fan Dolly Parton.

The country music legend revealed she has a Christmas tree in every single room of her house – well, one of her houses.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on the Ellen show in 2018, the comedian queried whether Parton decorated for the festive season.

“Do you do a big decoration of your house?” the host asked.

“Oh yeah, I’ve got a lot of rooms in my house and I’ve got a Christmas tree in every one of them,” the Nine to Five star replied.

“A little one – they’re all different sizes.”

She added that her different houses are decorated with various themes.

“I have a lake house and we decorate it kind of with the theme of water,” said Parton. “Christmas is really all about the kids.”

The beloved musician and businesswoman has particularly embraced Christmas this year, releasing her first festive album in 30 years, A Holly Dolly Christmas, in October 2020.

Parton also starred in and wrote all the songs for a new Netflix Christmas musical, Christmas on the Square, in which she plays the part of Angel, an celestial being determined to change the heart of the Scrooge-esque Regina Fuller (played by Christine Baranski).

It was recently revealed that Parton saved the life of a child actor on the set of the film.

In an interview with Inside Edition, nine-year-old actor and dancer Talia Hill – whose siblings also appear in the film – said that Parton saved her from what could have been a serious accident during production.

“We were on set, and I was at the hot chocolate station, and they said go back to your beginning positions,” Hill said.

“So there was a vehicle moving, and I was walking, and then somebody grabbed me and pulled me back, and I looked up and it was Dolly Parton.”

Hill, who said she was “in shock” at the incident, heard Parton tell her: “Well, I am an angel, you know.”
