Angelina Jolie and family star on the cover of Vogue

The actress is celebrating her new film with a family-themed shoot for the November issue of American Vogue.

Angelina Jolie has given a glimpse into family life with the Jolie-Pitts, in a new shoot for the November issue of American Vogue.

Jolie stars on the cover of the new issue and is the fifth time the actress has landed the prestigious cover.

The feature coincides with the release of Jolie's new film 'By The Sea' which also provides the theme for the seaside setting of the shoot.

In one image shot by renowned fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz, Jolie is pictured wearing a Bottega Veneta skirt, running along a beach with four of her six children - Vivienne, Shiloh, Zahara and Knox.

In another she is pictured decked out in motorcycle gear with her entire family including husband Brad Pitt.

The cover sees an understated Jolie pose alone on a beach wearing a black and white sweater dress by Saint Laurent.
